What to Expect
Understandably, you’ll want to know exactly what happens when you come in for a LENS session…
Once in our office, you’ll sit in a comfortable chair while four very small sensors are placed: two on your ears and two are moved to different areas of your head.
The sensors are placed on different parts of your head while a small radio-frequency input (less energy than a digital watch; much less than a cell phone!) is delivered for only a few seconds in each position. You will feel nothing! If not for the soft tone at the beginning and end of the input, you wouldn’t know the treatment had even taken place.
There are 21 sites on the head to be treated. No more than seven sites are treated in any single session. Typically, I like to be able to treat each site 3 times, but everyone is different.
The first session lasts about 45 minutes; subsequent sessions last no more than 30 minutes. Through this simple method, the brain begins to quieten brainwaves associated with low performance and increase those associated with optimal brain function.
